The fore end checkering is a Grade 3 pattern but extremely worn compared to the Grade 2 pattern Without drop points on the buttstock. That and the DHPB suggests the original buttstock May have been Replaced with one from a Grade 2. May still be a great shooter but probably not an original collector. FWIW.
