Frank is progressing in his recovery. There is good news to report from the last several days:
Frank has been moved into a step-down floor from the intensive care (last Sunday)
Looking for insurance approval and available room to move to Lynchburg.
They have started Frank with speech therapy. This is hard since his jaws are wired shut so this presents additional challenges. He is trying to use his voice.
They know he is seeing something with his eyes, but not sure what at this time. He has not been awake enough to evaluate vision.
He continues to nod to questions and does follow some commands.
As with every brain injury there are up and down days and up and down times during every day. Frank is trending upward every day that goes by.
Brenda asks that you pray for Frank to continue to have up days and that his days show him responding more to commands from everyone (Brenda, Drs., therapists). He needs to be a little further along before he can be considered for TBI rehab as he needs to be able to participate in therapy in order to go to the TBI centers. Also, pray for his eyes to heal.

Also we need to remember to pray for Brenda and Jacob. They carry a tremendous weight on their shoulders and in their hearts. Pray for his Drs, nurses, therapists and caregivers to provide everything that Frank needs.

Thank you to everyone who has helped in any way to support Frank, Brenda and Jacob. Whether through prayer, visits, just a note and financial gifts.

GoFundMe Update: Current status - $ 27,455
BMC Collections: $12,065

What an outpouring of love from so many people. Club members, other shooting friends and clubs, friends of the Davis family .... all together in support of this friend of ours.

Thank you so much.
