Took it out and shot it today. Finish is not as original as I had thought at first. In the daylight I can see that there is a coat of very nicely done finish over the original and that there was some areas worn through the original. The stock cheek edges are darkened where they were worn under the newer finish. The newer finish was very nicely done and quite some time ago as it shows very slight cracks itself in a couple of places. Sure shoots nice too!
