Ive never gotten any replies when trying to ask Cabelas about old doubles they list . The stamps and proof marks would be the only way to tell what is going on with the chambers though .

There was a Francotte 10 ga that sold recently with 3.5" chambers that was clearly marked on the barrel flats 2 7/8" and it was not a heavy 10 ga either .
