Mills, they are 1886-87 shipped guns (oddly enough, shipped about a year apart, but with consecutive serial numbers). I assume made in advance to have on hand and sent out when an order arose. I had Brad Batchelder restore one of them -- it was pretty rough. Neither is a very light gun, even with the 0 frame and lightening cuts. Both have 28 inch barrels and were originally choked pretty tightly, although the '87-shipped gun has had its right barrel choke opened at some point in time...and a straight stock (with Parker long tang and serial number stamping under it) added somewhere along the road. Certainly not collector status guns, but "venerable" none the less.
