Eugene C. Griffith, an "amateur" shooting a Parker was winner of the 1901 GAH at Live Birds. Griffith had shot only about 300 live birds before the GAH and he went on to best 21 other straights including many professional shooters. A real success story and a good read in the
Pigeons in the Park chapter of the McIntosh Fox book.
