3/4 "pine box, USPS insured, never had a problem----I do not need the aggravation dealing with as claim.
Maybe I am just lucky, because I have a complete wood working shop in my basement & hundreds of native pine on stickers. So making a pine box to ship a gun /barrels for repair or for sale is simple for me. It is nearly impossible to damage a 3/4' pine box.
It looks as though the barrels can be repaired , but that is NOT the issue, I understand.
