Since I don't have a camera crew at my back for my hit TV hunting show, knowing what any of my guns will do, when the fooled with birds step inside my forty yard circle and the head is up, I am shooting. A bird in the hand at $10 each is worth two cripples in the bush at fifty cents per shell. Hunting three weeks in a row, as I did last year, to get three birds gets old fast. Spending $1000+ on a gun, I can afford the best shells at 1% of its cost.
Decoys lock up birds out of range 50% of the time expecting it to come to him in my experience.
