Thanks for letting us know what gauge it was.
The chambers are not 2-1/2”. They are 2-5/8” which parker i tended to shoot 2-3/4” shells from.
So, shoot 2-3/4” shells. Shooting 2-1/2” is only to be cautious, which is fine too if you want.
