I believe it is part of the bull market we are seeing in all commodities. Also with the Federal Reserve taking actions that devalue the US Dollar that is going to push prices of everything up. Remember they think a little inflation is good for the economic recovery
. The government won't report it later as inflation via the CPI but the prices of most metals, food, oil etc is going up.
