Default Fun with Parker’s in So Cal

I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite Parker people yesterday in Fullerton, CA. Life member Dick Dow is a retired dentist who now travels the west and northwest in search of upland game. We shot sporting clays at a local range even though the temps pushed 100 degrees. Dick brought two 16 gauge Parker’s for us to shoot. One is a very high condition VH, 1 frame, 28” barreled beauty and the other has nearly identical dimensions just not as high condition. Lunch at Roscoe’s followed then back to his house to look at his unbelievable model trains, a 50’s era Cushman scooter and of course REALLY nice Parkers. I’ll be writing an article about hunting with “Doc” in an upcoming Parker Chronicles installment. Thank you my friend for showing me a great time in a too short time. Here’s a few pics of shooting and the last one is the famous “Hotel California “.
