I respectfully disagree, and I don't know why you think "2-2-10 loads are a Virginia thing" and "most of them are shot there."
Wagner has been making shells for nearly fifty-five years and I doubt Virginia alone could have kept them in business. Barrel makers are out of IN, OH, GA, NC, Va, and most assuredly in every Southern state. You tell them the shell you are shooting and they customize the barrel and choke to the shell for the densest pattern.
Go to this website and see that there are shoots everywhere and not every shoot is advertised as there are thousands not listed on the website. I called the manufacturer and she confirmed these shells go most everywhere in the U.S. The 2-2-10 is their most popular shell and you can see shoots listed for MO, PA, TN, VA, etc. using Wagner shells. But a lot of shoots use the cheapest shell they can buy at Wally World. This makes it difficult for as you know, guns shoot each shell differently.
