Brent - Personally, I would not shoot an older gun with a bulge like that. I have been through this on a gun of my own and wanted to send the barrels to Dewey Vicknair to fix the bulge. Dewey said he does not repair bulged barrels for liability reasons. I ended up finding another set of barrels. (I was lucky.) The bulge probably came from an obstruction. Be careful. Nine inches from the breach is a critical area.
