I, for the most part, shoot 1/8 oz light for gauge at 1150 fps +-.
10 gauge 1 1/8 oz
12 gauge 1 oz
16 gauge 7/8 oz
20 gauge 3/4 oz
It's easy on the gun and me. There are exceptions when I'm hunting waterfowl and only expect to shoot a few times.
