Item #1044 from the November Auction would cover your 1904 2 5/8 inch 12-gauge box. 12-gauge boxes of that vintage generally don't have the length listed on them if they are the "standard" 2 5/8 inch length, but do list the length if they are the 2 3/4 (like Items $1043 and 1045), 2 7/8 or 3-inch shells.
