From the photos I would say $500 ish maybe right. Without the gun in hand it is hard to tell. If it is in great mechanical condition, meaning the barrels are on face, the bores are great, she locks solidly but the stock is a little rough you might get a little more.
It would cost more to have it properly restored than you'll ever get out of money wise but, hey, it is your money. Watch out, there are lots of "gunsmiths" that will refinish it cheap. They'll buff it up and drop it in the blue tank and make it look real purdy and not in the English Purdey way. It is how you ruin a nice worn shotgun quickly.
I say have someone that knows what to look it check it out to see if it is sound. If it is sound enjoy it with all its bumps, bruises, warts and all. Don't worry what its worth.
