The LA84Foundation owns the Sporting Life archives, and now, for the 3rd time, they have changed the links - NONE of the links from previous history threads or on my website work, and they redirect to this

which no longer gives a view of the actual
Sporting Life page but a plain text
The Sporting Life Archives Search also redirects, and when I entered Fred Gilbert got "no results found" - right
This is a MAJOR loss for anyone trying to research a specific turn-of-the-century shooter or event.
Hundreds of hours of research are now lost in internet space...again. I do have quite a bit of text and images saved on my website however - not the same as seeing the actual page though.
NOT a Merry Christmas surprise
