130 years young
After being assured from my gunsmith that my 10 gauge Parker hammer gun would be back in my hands before this waterfowl season, I purchased a few boxes of Bismuth #5 shot 10 gauge shells from RST to use for the upcoming season. Waterfowl season opened and still no Parker hammer gun so deep into the back of my safe I went to find a gun to match the ammo I had recently purchased. Out came a LC Smith grade 3 built in 1888 which I don't believe has been used much in the last 130 years. I saw only 3 ducks all day but this one got close enough to harvest. It's always memorable for me to hunt with an antique gun in this modern world of semi-autos and black guns.
