You're right Scot, it doesn't seem logical, but it did happen and there is someone that does know! . . . and it was told to me in a direct conversation I had with this individual that is very, very, very close to the Parker Reproduction project. The factory did indeed stray away from sequential/chronological numbering - not necessarily with the
SCCs, but with another model. If it occurred with other models, it very well could have occurred with the
Sporting Clays Classics as well.
