Default Unique case

I thought I would share a few pictures of a cool vintage 2 gun leather case. The case was made between 1930 and 1940 from what I can determine. Made in Las Angles by N. CHAS CASTILLO SADDLE MAKER.
THis case is no light weight weighing 11 lbs 10 oz. made of high quality saddle leather, calf skin, and heavy canvas.
I wish I knew the history behing this case. It appears that the original initials on this case were W. R. D. These have been covered over and the initials WMP have been added clearly not the same workmanship.
Under one of the canvas flaps is Written W M Pearce Wilmington Calif.
This would match the added initials. The case would accommodate at least 34” barrels. There are for snapped compartments over when the barrels and receiver would be stored. Any feedback or comments are sure welcome.

I have more pictures in my album on this Parker site. I will see if I can figure out how to move them to here.
