1891 GH 1 frame 12ga
Thanks to Brian Dudley for selling this firearm. I don't have the letter on it yet, not that I expect anything fabulous on a GH letter but you never know.
The guns is 30 inch 1 frame 12 gauge, weighs in at 7lb 12 oz with barrels that weigh 4lbs 3oz. The frame is greyed but with sharp engraving and the barrels have a very nice silver damascus pattern. The buttstock is in good original shape, the forend has been recheckered and not the best, but serviceable for a nice shooter.
That is the description on this gun, a real nice shooter....however, I don't know if its the engraving, the damascus, or what but this gun really connects with me. I have previously owned a shooter DH 1 frame that had thin barrels and weighed in at 6lbs 10 oz and had barrels that flew. This one has barrels that barely seem to taper and for a 1 frame, the barrels have a solidness to them that feels like you could use them as a baseball bat. All in all a nice honest GH that I am very happy with.
