In the case if my gun, it’s quite reasonable to assume someone simply made a stamping error, but it does illustrate, that in most things Parker, it’s best not to generalize.
If the OP could give us the grade, it certainly would point towards the correct SN, though it’s a rare piece, and pretty unlikely in the 180k range, with original Damascus barrels.
