Mike, don't bother lining or sleeving Damascus barrels - it won't be worth the expense.

Have a qualified doublegun smith examine and measure wall thickness on yours. Wham you get the green flag from him, shoot away... with appropriate loads of course.

In fact, all old guns should be inspected and measured before shooting - it just makes good sense to do so.
