I just want to say hello and introduce myself to the group. I’m from Long Island. My hobbies include firearms, old cars, cigars and my Harley. (All of these hobbies cause the wife to roll her eyes A LOT).
I found my way to the forum because of my last acquisition, a Parker shotgun. I know very little about them, but always heard they were excellent firearms. A friend of mine who’s grandfather passed away at 97 had it and he didn’t want it. I made my offer and now she’s mine. I did run the serial #70590 in the search which came back that there is further info on the firearm. I will be sending away for the research letter.
The numbers all match on the gun. It has 30” twist barrels, and is a 12 gauge built in 1892, I think. If anyone has any info on this shotgun I would be very grateful.
