Have looked at that spot with a jewelers loop, and with a “pocket microscope” with almost double the power, and i THINK that this is the repair, and the barrels were never refinished. Going to send the gun up to Parker Batchelder, and get them to advise. Either way, repair and reblue, or just reblue. The trick will be letting go of the gun once I get it back!!
