Sometimes it's hard to fathom our guns that we have such an attachment to in the hands of someone else. We can only hope they treasure them as much as do we. I've made notes about each of my guns -- when and where I got them, any history/research letters, etc. and how I've used them. I don't have any kids to leave them to, so I can only hope that after I'm gone there still are collector-users that will appreciate them and their history. I also try to honor the previous caretakers of my guns by using and caring for them. In the end, I think that's all we can expect.
