Had this same issue one time, and determined that if I opened and closed the gun more forcibly than usual, the problem showed up....In my case, it occurred when shooting flurry games, when I moved over to 5 stand with the same gun, and no issue, as I wasn't just hitting the lever and letting the gun fall open as I reached for my reloads and slapping the action shut. At five stand, skeet and trap I open and close the gun more smoothly.... All of that being said, in my case the rim of the extractor was okay, but the "channel" that the extractor traveled in for and aft in the barrels had wallowed out a little...Kirk Merrington fixed it easily, but until I could get the gun to him, I put a large dose of high viscosity "blue" grease in there, and it seemed to help.
