Disappointing Decision Regarding PGCA Binders
Bill and others, thanks for your thoughts. It's obvious that some other step rather than discontinuing shipment could have been taken.
Bruce, I find it even more disappointing that the "Board" in its collective wisdom would arrive at such a decision. It appears our organization is like most others in that when one gets tired of doing a particular job after a period of time we find reasons to discontinue said job rather than hand it off to someone else. High postage is a convenient excuse; I'm sure folks who wish to purchase a PGCA Binder can well afford the postage. To put someone else at inconvenience to pick up a Binder and take care of mailing it at a later date seems rather imposing. I'm sure we don't sell the binders in large volume throughout the year and I suspect that now sales will dwindle further. I find it interesting that we expect other vendors to take care of mailing their products but we are unwilling internally to measure up to our expectations. Enough said, perhaps too much said; we live by the decisions of our Board.
