Hi, I am Fred Leibsle, I am a friend of Dale Edmonds and do internet research for him. Dale refinishes Damascus barrels, he is always trying to improve his work and in particular his work with the fine Damascus patterns seen on Parker barrels. If any of you might have a set of blown or otherwise ruined Parker Damascus barrels, Dale would like to have them to cut up and use for samples to test various rusting solution formulas. He would be willing to desolder the ribs and send them back to you and, knowing him, give you a discount on the next set of barrels you send in for refinishing.
