Using a digital caliper (because it was handy, not because I think it's necessary to measure these in thous.) I get 1.63" on an 0 frame (1 5/8"), 1.70" on a 1 frame, and 1 .75" on a 1 1/2 frame.
Mating it up to a frame is going to give you more info, than simple (or overly detailed) measurements. Over time, wood swells with oil, and certainly a repair from a split head may measure greater than it was prior to being split, simply because it may not have been able to glue it, then squeeze it back to it's original dimension.
