Jim clearly has a lot of friends through the PGCA, and I am proud to count myself as one of them. I, too, look forward to the day I can shake his hand in person, and thank him for all the education over the time that I have known him.
I was reflecting that not only do we all enjoy collecting, shooting, and learning about these classic American shotguns, but what great joy there is in meeting a Forum Friend in person! I have met a number of people from this Forum over time, including Mike Franzen in this photo and many others, and have found each and every one to be a top-shelf gentleman, and one that I would be proud to stand alongside on a gun range or in a duck blind or in a river with a fly rod or in the thickest of grouse coverts. I'm delighted to say that I have been privileged to experience some of those things with my PGCA friends.
We are privileged by our association.
Dave
