You're right on the case being intended for a 12-ga., the 28-ga Repro's barrels appear
lost in the barrel compartments.
I'm not so sure of your second point . . . This 28-ga. Repro appeared to it being hawked right here on this site by the new buyer within 5 minutes of the close of the auction.
