Kenny, the only problem with late Sept hunt i s that the temps may be warm, and of course the foilage is still thick and green( guess that's 2 reasons). Bird numbers should be pretty
good, esp the woodcock. I hit the Up in late Oct, cooler and folage is down. Hopefully a couple hard frosts will hit in early Sept. Make sure your dog has good tick repellant/collar in place, deer ticks are nasty.
