Parker Bros. single selective trigger was in the right trigger slot with the fore & aft sliding selector in the left trigger slot. The Hunter Arms Co. HOT and the A.H. Fox Gun Co. Fox-Kautzky single selective trigger were in the left barrel slot with the fore & aft sliding selector in the right trigger slot.

So, a Parker Bros. SST replaced with double triggers would have the R and L on the left side of the triggers while on a Fox they are on the right.

During the early years of the NID, Ithaca Gun Co. used a Miller single selective trigger with the selector by movement of the safety slide fore or aft --

The only selector I could ever use when a bird is taking wing. The Howland Single Selective Trigger used by Ithaca in the later NID years externally looked the same. The Howland single non-selective trigger was in the left slot with a blank (?) in the right slot that lifts when the trigger is pulled.
