2 7/8" gun built in 1893. Not a big load by any means but very effective, 1 1/4 ounce of bismuth #4 pushed along with Green Dot. However Scott and I refer to them as "old" 4's vs. new fours. The old Bismuth cartridge company changed something at one point in time and their #4's got smaller. So that I know the difference in the field I write #3 on the over shot card in a Federal hull or I load them in Remington green hulls so I know it's the larger number #4 pellet.
