My Grandfather passed in 1976, I was 13 at the time. Grandmother gave me his upland hunting gear except there was no firearm, just clothing. After all these years my cousin contacts me in regards to this shotgun. Apparently my Great uncle was in possession until he passed 19 years ago. My cousin inherited his home and stored 3 shotguns in the attic of the garage, go figure!!. Anyway, she lives in Brooklyn and finally gave up the house on the water. All this time they were stored in soft cases enduring hot and cold temps. While packing the house up she came across the guns. She remembered the Parker was my Grandfathers. Needless to say she was extremely upset and gave me the shotguns. I was very upset myself but I am passed that and on a mission to restore them as much as I can. It's sentimental at this time but you never know what could come of it.
