On Friday I asked both Alex and Jill about this Cabelas rumor- they both confirmed what I suspected- Bunkum- No such deal, and Alex likes to stay direct to customers- with Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Bass Masters Pro Shop, other big box retailers, you lose that customer direct base--
Morris Baker wasn't there- sadly, as we had shared some phone chats about our other mutual love of varmint hunting (sniper style on woodchucks with accurate rifles) and also crow hunting- Apparently some last minute details kept him at home-- Next year I hope--
I used Rem green 12 reloads for my practice shooting, and RST orange 2.5 1 oz. No. 8's for the competition-we are lucky to have RST and the other small shell loading firms (like New Era) supporting our events--
