Thanks for the comments and feedback. I returned the gun to the seller and explained that the stock was not original. They know I don't buy refinished or non-original guns, so that wasn't an issue.

However, I had some work done to the gun (replace the sights with ivory beads, adjust the ejector, adjust the top lever). I offered to pay for these items, but if I knew the stock was not original I would have never been interested in the gun. To be determined if I will bear these costs or if the seller will absorb or perhaps split the cost with me.
