On Tuesday Bruce took us to the Diamond Butte Lookout. It's a lookout station perched atop a butte 4300 feet above sea level. No electric, no running water, no indoor plumbing. (Just like Jim Pasman's camp in NH). As far as you can see in every direction it's beautiful scenery. I was hoping for a clear night to see the stars and wasn't disappointed.
