As they say "it is what it is". So now that it's revealed to be an upgrade but still a nice hunting/shooter make an offer of what your willing to pay and go from there. You won't find a better/nicer gun in the $10-12K range.

We have all sold guns we regret but $6K for a gun 30 years ago was a lot of money then for a gun.
