I have very unusual stock dimensions and it is very important to me that the gun fits right and balances properly. My question is:

Should I pillage the barrels from my recently aquired 20ga to create a 2 barrel set with my newly stocked 16ga 0 frame?

or

Should I just go ahead and restock the 20ga as well. Side-Note: the forend would need replaced as well as it is not checkered properly.

Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated!
Just my opinion but if it were me I would not even mess with the 20 gauge because your 16 gauge will do anything the 20 will do only better and because they are both built on the same frame size there will not be any advantage in weight for the 20 over the 16.
