It looks nicely trimmed only. The keels are in place and the rib matting terminates short of the end of the rib with the addition of applied matting to the very end of the rib.
Double click on the picture and look closely and you will see that where the line across the rib at the end of the matting would normally be the matting does not precisely join with the applied matting to the end of the rib. We have seen similar applications of engraved matting and other peculiarities which indicate uncut barrels.
