The beavertail was from a gun that I made wood for a few months ago. Actually, that beavertail went to the wood stove and the correct splinter was made for that gun. Only two pictures are from the gun I just finished. Thanks for the advice on the depth of the checkering, much appreciated. Again, I knew it would be flat, all I had to go by was pictures. Thanks for your opinion, I value them, as I'm a finatic about detail. Jerry
