These shells, and my "new" lifter did well today. The gun shot much better with these brass shells than the plastic ones I loaded up by hand. I also think 3 drams(instead of 2 3/4) with 1 1/8oz. of shot helped. I did use 2 - 1/2" pre-lubed 9 gauge wads just to fill up the case. I had read where that can mess up the pattern. However, after shooting these today I wouldn't change a thing. I went 5/6 on 2 stations and 6/6 on one, which all I can ask for. I missed a few easy ones, but that happens. I did find out that I can pattern the gun at this sporting clays place I go to, which I will do this week.

So all in all I am happy with these. I am amazed at how well they worked an would hunt with them. I may have to try for a turkey myself this spring.

No sonic cleaner yet, so they are soaking in water with some white vinegar now.
