Daisy will be 11 in March and though she is still going strong I can tell age is taking it's toll. It takes her longer to recuperate after a hard day but her heart is still 110%. She went through some ice a couple of weeks ago. We were close to the truck and I got her toweled off put the heater on her and warmed up the seat. We took a nice break and I left her in the truck for our last little bit of cover. You could hear her barking 200 yards away. It took her a full day to get back to normal after that one.

I'm fighting the wife tooth and nail on another dog. It will be one of those occasions where it's better to ask forgiveness than permission. I have a line on a nice male setter 3 years old and a good hunter. The battle is coming
