Should read "rebarrelled in 1891 due to burst, choked RH close, LH cylinder". This is according to the Parker Gun letter. Purchase price $55.00 in 1882, new Twist barrels $27.50 in 1891. It now sports laminated barrels and has seen many campaigns.....so something else may have happened. One can drop an entire choke gauge into the right barrel so it may be "close". Still has wicked pattern at 30 yards. Left barrel loves nickel 7s but is rarely employed as after the smoke clears from the right barrel the fate of the quarry has been sealed
