I kind of like the way Manitoba runs it's master angler program. If you catch a fish large enough to qualify for that species you get a bronze badge. If you catch a master in 5 species you get a silver, 10 species is a gold. 5 of the same species gets you a specialist which is enameled. Each one entered between the levels gets a letter.
We don't have the species to do that, but maybe a pin for the first double, a pin for three species, and a specialist for 3 of the same species? Very hard to do for the last two but they wouldn't be common. I think a charge to cover the cost is fair. Or make a deal with your hunting partner that if one gets a double the pays for it. I still haven't shot one true double with a Parker so I respect and congratulate those that do.
