Wow Pat, I'm so sorry to learn that about the wrist. That grain was as straight as I have ever seen in the wrist of any Repro. I wish I could answer your question about the forends - all I can think of is that there was some hand fitting even on the hi-tech, machine-made Repros.


Hmmm... Now that I look at it again, I do see some 'not so straight' grain in there. Maybe it was the other side that looked better. No matter - the damage is done. I hope it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
