Russ, I wish we would see some nice doubles at our local shops . Those days seem to be gone.
The 20g B grade didn't have the typical engraving that I see in many photos. There weren't any game scenes. The action was scroll engraved. There was not 100% coverage , it was sectioned off into distinct panels. I have not had the opportunity to handle many B grades, but it did seem odd. The .410 had typical G grade engraving.

Dave have you ever visited a shop in Hughsville PA called "Dugans Gunshop" ? Hughesville is a bit east of Williamsport . I was in there once about 10 years ago . At that time I was looking for pre 1920 Marlin leveractions so I don't know if they had any nice old doubles . But I do know they had a veritable PILE of old guns !
