Jeff and I were starting to sweat a little, but I think we're going to be ok. The only geese he had been able to find were going from big water to wheat he couldn't get permission on. We logged a bunch of miles on these long straight roads this afternoon and saw nary a wing. Just as we were about to give up we spotted a pod of geese on a large lake. Driving closer we found about 200 scattered feeding on a fresh cut wheat field with not a posted sign in sight. Cross your fingers boys, going to be tough to hide in that short stubble but we're going to give them a try.
